The correct answer would be (C) 2,8,3
Step-by-step explanation:
A full first shell is comprised of two electrons, and for the shells in between the max is 8 (for this small of an element, it can be larger for some larger elements; but that’s beside the point), and aluminum is in group 13 so it has 3 valance electrons.
