Answer:

Explanation:

y = 2/5x + p

We now that passes through (–2, 4)

2/5 × (-2) + p = 4

⇔ -4/5 + p = 4

⇔ p = 4 + 4/5

⇔ p = 20/5 + 4/5

p = 24/5

⇒ y = 2/5x + 24/5

Equation of a line is given by y - y1 = m(x - x1); where m is the slope.

y - 4 = 2/5 (x - (-2))

y - 4 = 2/5 (x + 2)

Hope this helps! :)
