The correct answer is counter-culture.
All of the aforementioned groups are ones that went against societal norms and did not believe in coping to societal standards. For example, the 1950's saw the rise of social conformity. Women were supposed to take care of the house/children while men were supposed to work in order to provide for the family. Along with this, families strived to have nice homes in the suburbs.
These gender and social norms were not viewed well by the beatniks, as they felt that people should think for themselves and should not have to follow these designated paths.
