Answer:

slope = 1.65 and is positive (going uphill)

Explanation:

Slope from a pair of points can be found using slope formula:

(y_(2)-y_(1))/(x_(2)-x_(1)) where (
x_(1),y_(1)) represent one point and (
x_(2),y_(2)) represent another point. Using the two points given (2, 17) and (-18, -16):

(-16-17)/(-18-2)=(-33)/(-20)=1.65

Since a negative divided by a negative becomes a positive, the overall slope of 1.65 is positive and the line will be increasing from left to right.
