Since GPE = mgh or mass times acceleration due to gravity times height the GPE at the top of the slope would equal
GPE = (60)(9.8)(10)
Multiplying that out gives you 5,880 J

What is the gravitational potential energy of a 0.1 kg apple sitting on top of a 12.5 m flagpole? Note: GPE= mgh. m= mass, g= acceleration due to gravity (9.8 m/s^2), h= objects height above the ground.
