I think it is bacteria. Organisms with genetic material not bounded by a nuclear membrane are called prokaryotes. The genetic material in these prokaryotic cells is lying free in the cytoplasm. These cells do not have membrane-bounded organelles, such as mitochondria, chloroplasts and endoplasmic reticulum. Bacteria is one of the example and it is unicellular.
