Since the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, we have seen governments at all levels try to mount a response on a scale and timeline that is essentially unprecedented in American history. Do a little bit of research into public agencies (i.e., bureaucracies) that are responsible for some aspect of the government's response to the pandemic. What actions has the agency taken? What problem(s) relating to the outbreak are these actions intended to address? How do these actions fit within the agency's broader mission? Have there been any issues or challenges that the agency has encountered in its response to the outbreak? Please choose a bureaucracy that is either part of the federal government or part of the State of California.
