If you cut the rectangle in half it forms 2 right angled triangles
You can find the diagonal by doing Pythagoras:
11^2+8^2=185
Square root of 185 is 13.6014...m
14m or 13.6 is your answer
Hope this helps

Answer:

Length of diagonal is 13.6 m

Explanation:

Formula for length of diagonal of rectangle is given by

\sqrt{l^(2) +w^(2) }

where l is length and w is width

for this question length (l) = 11 m and width (w) = 8 m

so length of diagonal =
\sqrt{11^(2) +8^(2) }

=
√(121+64 )

=
√( 185 )

=13.6 m
