So we have:
30 books having a mass of 8.6kg
50 books having a mass of 13.1kg
Subtract 30 from 50 (50 - 30) = 20
Subtract 8.6 From 13.1 (13.1 -8.5) = 4.5
To find the mass of each book, we divide the mass by how many books we have left after subtraction.
4.5/20 = 0.225 kg
