Answer

momentum is property which is possessed by a moving body due to its mass and its motion. SI unit of momentum is
kg(m)/(s)

momentum of a body which have mass m and which is moving with velocity v is given as

p=m* v

In words, momentum of a body can be defined as the product of mass of the body and velocity with which it is moving

Momentum = mass x velocity

Hope it will help you

Hi

Here is the equation for the momentum

p = m x v

here m indicates mass and v indicates velocity.

Using words it can also be written as:

Momentum = mass x velocity

Momentum of a body is basically the product of its mass and velocity.The standard unit of momentum is the kg x m/s, because the unit of mass is kilograms or kg and unit of veocity is metre per second or m/s, Therefore the product of both is the unit of momentum.

Hope it help!
