Type the correct answer in each box. Spell all the words correctly, and use numerals instead of words for numbers. If necessary, use / for the fraction bar(s).

translation of 2 units left, and a reflection across the x axis :)

Answer:

The original triangle translated 2 units to the left and then reflected across x-axis.

Explanation:

The co-ordinates of ΔABC are:

A = (8, 8)

B = (10, 4)

C = (2, 6)

The co-ordinates of ΔA'B'C' are:

A' = (6, -8)

B' = (8, -4)

C' = (0, -6)

Comparing both the co-ordinates we can see that y co-ordinate values signs have changed and x co-ordinate values are reduced by 2 units.

Thus, we can say that first translation to 2 units left occurred and then reflection around x axis occurred.
