\bf \begin{array}{ccll} inches&cents\\ \cline{1-2} 15&60\\ 12&x \end{array}\implies \cfrac{15}{12}=\cfrac{60}{x}\implies \cfrac{5}{4}=\cfrac{60}{x} \\\\\\ 5x=240\implies x=\cfrac{240}{5}\implies x=48

Answer: 48 cents

Explanation:

To find how much each inch costs we divide

60/15=4

Each inch costs 4 cents.

4x12=48
