If you had been an American colonist, would you have supported the Declaration of Independence? Why or why not?

You can say yes because you did not like your sense of freedom and liberties to be oppressed. That you hate being outrageously taxed. And that you would not like to be observed all the time by British soldiers forced to stay in your home.
