Plug -1 into the equation.
F(x)=(-1)5+(-1+3)2
F(x)=-5+4=-1
Your answer is -1

Answer:

If x = -1 then f(x)= 3

Explanation:

The function
f(x)= x^5+ ( x + 3)^2 is used to create a table

If x = -1 then what is f(x)

To find f(x) when x=-1 , we plug in -1 for x in f(x)

f(x)= x^5+ ( x + 3)^2

Plug in x=-1

f(-1)= (-1)^5+ (-1 + 3)^2

f(-1)= -1+ (2)^2

f(-1)= -1+4=3

So f(-1)=3

If x = -1 then f(x)= 3
