6 feet

Explanation:

The perimeter of a rectangle = 2l + 2w

where l is the length and w the width

here perimeter = 34 and length = 11, hence

2 Ă— 11 + 2w = 34

22 + 2w = 34 ( subtract 22 from both sides )

2w = 12 ( divide both sides by 2 )

w = 6

That is the width of the room is 6 feet
