⇒ Perimeter of the park = distance = 2.5 miles and

time = 10 minutes =
(10)/(60) = (1)/(6) hours

The equation which gives the speed of the tram:


s \cdot (1)/(6) = 2.5

Multiply both sides by 6 we get;


s = 6 \cdot 2.5 = 15 miles/ hours
