Answer is 823.2 cu.in.
Reason
For the sphere
We know V=4/3 TT r^3
Radius is 3
V=4/3 (3.14) 3^3
V= 4/3 (3.14) 27
V= 113.1 for each sphere
8 spheres x 113.1 = 904.8 cu.in.

For the cubed shaped box
We know v= length x width x height
V= 12 x 12 x 12
V = 1728 cu.in.

Now we take volume of box and subtract volume of spheres to get space filled by packing beads
1728 - 904.8 = 823.2 cu.in.
