Answer:

half the diagonal is given as 7 yards, the full diagonal would be 7 x 2 = 14 yards.


The formula for the length of a side of a square using just the diagonal is:

Side = √2(d/2)

Side = √2 (14/2)

Side = √2(7)

Side = 9.9 yards.


The area of a square is S^2

Area = 9.9^2

Area = 98.01

Area = 98.0 Yards^2
