Answer: Vertex (2, -15) 2nd Point (0, -3)

Explanation:

g(x) = 3x² - 12x - 3 ⇒ a=3, b=-12, c=-3

Use the axis of symmetry formula to find the x-value of the vertex:

x=(-b)/(2a)=(-(-12))/(2(3))=(12)/(6)=2

Input thex-value into the given equation to find the y-value:

g(2) = 3(2)² - 12(2) - 3

= 3(4) - 24 - 3

= 12 - 27

= -15

So, the vertex is (2, -15)

For the 2nd point, plot the y-intercept (which is when x = 0) to get (0, -3).

To graph, plot the vertex first and then the 2nd point.
