The answer is B... The formula for the area of a triangle is base x height / 2. The height would be 5. Since 9 is the base length of the rectangle, it leaves 13 inches left from the triangles. There are 2 sides so divide 13 by 2 to get 6.5. Then just plug it into the formula: (6.5)(5)/2
