3:20 pm = quinze heures vingt
3:20 am = trois heures vingt (du matin)
1:20 am = une heure vingt (du matin)
in French, for the hours after noon (= twelve), we go on with treize, quatorze, quinze .... till vingt-trois heures (11 pm) ............. as you use the a.m. and p.m. . We go from one to twenty-three. noon = midi or douze heures. Midnight = minuit
