A painter mixes 1/4 gallon of red paint, 3 quarts of yellow paint, and 2 quarts of white paint. How many quarts of paint are in the mixture

There are 6 quarts because 4 quarts are in a gallon.

There are 6 quarts because 1/4 of a gallon is 1 quart. then you add the 1 quart, 3 quarts and 2 quarts together and you will get 6 quarts. Hope this helped.
