Answer:

20

Explanation:

The area is 10. The length is 0.5=1/2.

So l*w=10

1/2=0.5

0.5*w=10

Divide 0.5 from both sides. (10/(1/2)=20)

w=20

The width is 20

Answer:

Width = 20 inches.

Explanation:

This is torturing the definition of length and width a bit.

Area = 10

"L" = 1/2 inch

Width = Area / Length

Width = 10 / 1/2

Width = 10/0.5

Width = 20
