|-(2)/(3)-(5)/(3)|, in this case a=-2/3 and b=5/3 (b is positive since you're subtracting b, so if b appeared positive in the equation, it's actually negative, since the negative sign in |a-b|, which would make the two negatives cancel out). This means A is the correct answer. You could also calculate what the value is. Calculating gives you:
|-(7)/(3)| = (7)/(3). And as you can see the top one, has two numbers separated by 7 one thirds.
