70 POINTS!!! I need an intro paragraph. Here is the prompt, "Suppose that the mayor of your city wants to declare a television-free week. No one in the city could watch TV. Some people are for the idea, and others are against it. The local newspaper is devoting a special section to discussing the issue, and you want to write an article stating your view. Which side do you take and why?"

I am saying it should not be done.
My reasons are the importance of news, children entertainment, and sports.

I disagree with the Mayor who gave our city a TV-free week. Many people like to watch television to know how the weather will be, so they can plan for their day. Parents may also rely on cartoons to entertain their kids while looking after other things at home. Besides, waking up on the weekends and being unable to watch any sports will be absolutely frustrating! So I don't think it is a good idea to have a TV-free week at all.

Parents may also rely on cartoons to entertain their children while they take care of other things at home. Besides, it'd just be disappointing to wake up on the weekends and be unable to watch any sports! Therefore, I don't think having a television-free week is a good idea at all.
