Pro Industrialists
Individuals in favor of industrialization felt that it helped advance the American economy. The new technologies developed during this time and the increase in production allowed for the creation of more mass goods than any other era in American history. This resulted in Americans having access to goods at a cheaper price than they would have before this period of economic growth.
Anti Industrialists
People against industrialism felt that the increased demand for goods resulted in the creation of unsustainable working conditions. Individuals in factories would work anywhere from 80-100 hours a week in some of the worse conditions possible.
