I need help answering this equation
-5x-3+4x+1=-4

Answer:

x=2

Explanation:

if we combine like terms, the positive 4x and the negative 5x combine to make negative x on one side. when u add negative 3 and positive 1, you get negative 2.

-x-2=-4

add two to both sides

-x=-2

multiply both sides by negative 1 to get a positive x
