Explanation:

Given Triangle HKJ is inscribed in the circle. we have to conclude about HJ if the triangle is a right triangle.

All the three sides are chord of the circle.

As given HKJ is right angled triangle i.e∠HKJ=90° and angle subtended by diameter in the semicircle is 90° implies HJ is diameter because if the HJ moves towards the angle then the given angle becomes acute and if moves away from the angle then the angle becomes obtuse which contradict the given information.

hence, the only possibility about the line HJ is that it is a diameter.
