For this case we have, by definition:

In the metric system, the basic unit for length is the meter, (m)

The base unit for mass is the Kilogram., (Kg)

The base units for gravity are
\frac {m} {s ^ 2}

The weight is the measure of the force of gravity of an object.

So, what Weight = Mass * gravity

Then the base units to measure the weight are:

Kg * \frac {m} {s ^ 2} =  Newton = N

Answer:

The Newton
