Answer:

2x-3

Explanation:

All we need to do is convert perimeter to side length, so we divide the expression by 4.

8x-10+8-10=8x-10-2=8x-12=(8x-12)/4=2x-3

Answer:

Length of one side of square is
a= 2x-3

Explanation:

In this question we have given that perimeter of square=8x-10+8-10.............(1)

Let us consider length of one side of square be 'a'

therefore, perimeter of square =4a..................(2)

frome equation 1 and 2

4a=8x-10+8-10

4a=8x-12

a= frac{8x-12}{4}

a= 2x-3

Therefore,

length of one side of square is
a= 2x-3
