The dance committee of Pine Bluff Middle School earns $75 from a bake sale and will earn $4 for each ticket they sell to the Spring Fling dance. The dance will cost $400. Amount earned by selling all the tickets = 4 × t

So, inequality such that after paying for the dance money is left over is such that there total earnings must be greater than the dance pay.

⇒ 75 + 4·t > 400

⇒ 4·t > 400 - 75

⇒ 4·t > 325

⇒ t > 81.25 ≈ 82
