The sum of the 3 angles of a triangle need to equal 180 degrees.

Using the information in the problem you have:

2x + x + 3x = 180

Simplify:

6x = 180

Divide each side by 6:

X = 180 / 6

x = 30

Angle C = 3x = 3(30) = 90 degrees.

The answer is C.
