Answer:
LiBr.
Explanation:
Li
has 3.0 electrons in his atom and its electronic configuration is
2,1
.
Br
has 35.0 electrons i his atom and its electronic configuration
2,8,18,7
.
Li has only one electron in its outermost shell and needs losing it to reach stability.
While, Br has 7 electrons in its outermost shell and needs gaining 1.0 electron to reach stability "octet rule".
So, Li and Br bonded by
1:1
ratio and the chemical formula is
LiBr
.
