Answer:

0

Explanation:

From the graph the x- intercepts are x = - 4 and x = 4

midpoint =
(-4+4)/(2) = 0 ← at the origin

Answer:

(0,0)

Explanation:

f(x) = (x-4)(x+4)

First we find x intercepts using f(x)

Set each factor =0 and solve for x

x-4=0 , x=4

x+4=0, x=4

So x intercepts are 4 and -4

To find midpoint we add both x intercepts and divide by 2

(+4-4)/(2) =(0)/(2) =0

midpoint occurs at x=0

When x=0 , the value of y is also 0 in the graph

So the midpoint is (0,0)
