How did overproduction affect farmers in the 1920s?

Farmers produced fewer goods.

Farmers used new technology.

Farmers could not pay their debts.

Farmers reacted to increased demand.

I guess they were throuing out a lot of their stuff, i mean goods, as a protest to lowered prices of their material achievements ending up distroying them in stead of selling them cause they couldn't pay their debts anyway. So, the short answer would be: Farmers could not pay tgeir debts!
