For the first one V=IR

V=1*5 =5V (note Kilo and Milli cancel out that is why my answer is in volts not kilovolts and not milivolts)

For the second 1

Source of emf is what produces electricity like battery, generator e.t.c

Here the source is Solar Cell

Seven

R = 1 kΩ = 1000 ohms

I = 5 * 10^-3 amps (Note 1000 ma = 1 ampere. So 1 ma = 1/1000 ampere.)

E = I * R

E = 5*10^-3 * 1000 ohms = 5 volts

Answer A

Eight

A: A wire cannot be a source of EMF in a circuit. If it could, every time you touched an extension cord, it would zap you. Doesn't happen. A is wrong.

B: A light bulb cannot be a source of EMF. You'd feel the heat before any current. A lightbulb converts energy from EMF to light. B is not the answer.

C: A solar cell is the answer.

D: A switch interrupts an EMF. It does not create it.
