Explanation:

sin theta = opposite / hypotenuse

sin 30 =3 /hypotenuse

Multiply by the hypotenuse on each side

hypotenuse * sin 30 = 3

Divide by sin 30

hypotenuse = 3/sin 30

hypotenuse = 6
