Answer:

Exact Area = 25π yd^2 and Circumference = 10π yd.

Explanation:

This question is almost exactly the same as the last one you posted, except you are given the radius. With the last question you worked out the radius by dividing the diameter by 2.

The exact area will be π r^2:

r = 5 so the area

= 5^2 π

= 25π yd^2.

and the circumference = 2 π r

= 2 * 5 * π

= 10π yd.

Now all you have to do is enter the calculations ( for example 25, x, then π then EXE or = ) in your calculator to get the approximate values.

Times the diameter by pi. The diameter is double the radius so the diameter of that circle would be ten so the circumference is 10pi
