Answer:

y=-8x-50

Explanation:

Standard form or slope intercept form is y=mx+b

m=slope or (y2-y1/x2-x1) or rise/run

b= y-intercept or where the graph of the equation crosses the y-axis

So we have;

y+2=-8(x+6)

y=-8(x+6)-2

y=-8x-48-2

y=-8x-50
