P=(7,-5) Q=(-4,-3)

Displacement vector from Q to P:

D = P - Q = (7,-5)-(-4,-3) = (11,-2)

P = Q + 100%D = (-4,-3)+(11,-2) = (7,-5)


Midpoint = M = Q + 50%D

= (-4,-3) + 0.5(11,-2) = (-4,-3) + (5.5,-1)

= (1.5,-4)

P = M + 50%D = (1.5,-4)+(5.5,-1) = (7,-5)
