Answer:

900 km/hr = 9E5 m / 3600 sec = 250 m/sec

ah = v^2 / R = 250^2 m/s / 1000 m = 62.5 m/s^2 horizontal acceleration

av = 9.8 m/s^2 vertical acceleration (due to gravity)

ah / av = 62.5 / 9.8 = 6.38 centripetal acceleration is greater
