Now if we imagine the triangle formed by slide and ground will be a right angle triangle so we can apply sin rule to get the height of the slide from the ground.

Now we know sin ∅ = height / hypotenuse

Here ∅ = 35° and hypotenuse = 3.1

Therefore sin∅ =
(x)/(3.1)

Or height x = 3.1 sin 35°

x = (3.1) × (.57) = 1.77 ≈ 1.80 m

The height of the slide from the ground is 1.80 m.
