Your good friend Emma invited you to her 18-year-old cousin Matt's birthday party. Emma is a straight-A student who is also on the cheerleading squad. When you get to her cousin's house, you see that there are no adults there. Emma's cousin hands her a beer. He then hands you a beer and says, "Here, have one. I do it all the time, and I never get caught." What would you do?

Well, since this is school related, I don't believe you should be choosing to accept the beer. (Otherwise, you'd fail the quiz lol...) But, you shouldn't choose to accept the beer, because not only is it a drug, but it could also have terrible side effects. You should always use the H.E.L.P. acronym if you need help deciding on things like these. H.E.L.P. stands for

- Healthful - What health risks will this decision pose to me and others around me.

- Ethical - Does this choice reflect what my family and I believe to be ethical or morally correct?

- Legal - Will I be breaking the law by making this decision? Is this legal for someone my age?

- Parent Approval - Would my parents approve of this choice?

I know I sound so stereotypical by saying these, but it honestly works. I recently got in trouble, and I've been using this acronym to help myself make better decisions so that I don't disappoint my parents or myself any more.
