Answer: When y = −3, x =2

When y = 4.5, x =-3

When y = 6, x = -4

Explanation:

Given equation:
y=-1.5x

To find x divide both sides by -1.5 , we get

x=(y)/(-1.5)

When y = −3,
x=(-3)/(-1.5)\\\Rightarrow\ x=2

When y = 4.5,
x=(4.5)/(-1.5)\\\Rightarrow\ x=-3

When y = 6,
x=(6)/(-1.5)\\\Rightarrow\ x=-4

So we have points to plot the line to show direct variation on graph as below.

(2,-3), (-3,4.5) and (-4,6)
