1. How does the melting of glaciers affect the density of the water at the poles?

1.) This creates a LOT of water, so it's pretty dense. 1a.) This makes the overall ocean level rise, as well as slightly change its temperature. That's because when water melts, it spreads and raises the sea level. Also because the cool water affects how cold the water is.
