When given the diameter, how can you use that information to find the area of a circle?

The area of a circle = 3.14(Pi)x radius squared.

By having the diameter you can find the radius just by diving the diameter by 2 like if the diameter is 12 then the radius is 6 so 3.14 x 6squared = 113.04

6squared is 6 x 6
