Answer:

c = -3, d = 15

Explanation:

Because nothing else can alter the x coefficients, 4c is -12 and c is -3.

Plug this back in to get that d is 15.

Answer:

c = -3

d=15

Explanation:

4cx - 5c = -12x + d

We know that the x terms have to be equal

4cx = -12x

Divide by x

4cx/x=-12x/x

4c =-12

Divide by 4

4c/4 =-12/4

c = -3

The constant terms also have to be equal

-5c = d

Substitute in c

-5(-3)=d

15=d
