The Equinox: is when at a certain time when the sun passes the "celestial" equator and which day and night is equal to each other. This happens twice a year. Equinox = Daylight Savings Time.

The Hurricane Eye: is when you reach the middle of the Hurricane and also known as the calmest and safest part of the Hurricane. Hurricane Eye = Region of Mostly Calm Weather.

A Drought: is when there is no rain or water. It has to be low water and rain level for a substantial amount of time to actually be called a drought. Drought = A Long Sustained Low Rain Level.

A Blizzard: is a very strong snow storm with a high wind level which can go up to 30 miles per hour or more. It brings an overabundance of snow that can get as tall as an average human or more. You can hardly see it coming but when its there you can definitely feel it! Blizzard = Very Strong Snow Storm.

Equinox: the time or date at which the sun crosses the celestial equator, when day and night are of equal length.

Hurricane eye: the eye is a region of mostly calm weather at the center of strong tropical cyclones. The eye of a storm is a roughly circular area, typically 30-65 km (20-40 miles) in diameter.

Drought: a prolonged period of abnormally low rainfall, leading to shortage of water.

Blizzard: a severe snowstorm with high winds and low visibility.
