The beliefs that apply to Judaism are the following

  • People are created in God’s image.
  • People must follow God’s law.
  • There is one god.

Judaism is a monoteistic religion which follows the words of the unique god called Yahve, and the Torah is its fundamental underlying book that contains God's law, which has to be followed by all believers.

In opposition to the Christian faith, Jews only believe in the contents of the Old Testament of the Bible, hence they do not believe on Jesus as the son of God or the Mesiah, but they do accept the Genesis book and the creation of the human race in God's image.
