As we know that work done by external environment is given as

W = P\Delta V

here we know that

P = 200 N/m^2

\Delta V = 0.2 m^3

now we will have

W = P\Delta V

W = 200 N/m^2 (0.2 m^3)

W = 40 J

so work done by external atmosphere will be 40 J

so correct answer will be

A. 40 joules
